1979 MG Midget (1500)
📝 SUMMARY
Every now and then a car comes through my classic car garage that I really want to keep. A Porsche 911, an E46 Alpina and now this little MG Midget!
This is as ‘oven ready’ as you could want from a 1979 car. With the last owner for more than 20 years, it has an unbroken record of MOTs in that time and thousands spent on regular servicing. In 1999 it had a full engine rebuild included replacement cam and unleaded cylinder heads at an MG specialist in Cornwall. It has done less than 10,000 miles since and you can tell.

Body: All original panels, door shuts are perfet. Has had various blow-ins over the years and some areas of micro-blistering and one or two breaks in the paint. Very straight with no significant rust. Interior: All very original and well-presented.

Service History: Pages of invoices showing a solid regular service pattern. Thousands spent.
Documentation: V5 present, countless MOTs. Original bill of sale and advert from previous owner’s purchase in 2003.
