Volkswagen Taro

It’s very fitting with the latest VW collaboration that I have for sale one of the earliest collabs. Volkswagen X Toyota. Probably the best VW in existence - a VW badge with Toyota reliability! If you haven’t seen one before, this is a VW Taro which is essentially a rebadged Mk3 HiLux. They changed the badges front and rear and put a VW steering wheel on it! We’ve given this one a new lease of life at Fremont Classics. The body is in incredible shape with no rust to speak of, but shows its age in a wonderful patina. We added to that with some professionally applied aged sign-writing to make this truck really stand out. The KC tribute roof lights are also the perfect addition. It’s the 2.4D Toyota engine - no drag races will be won but you can drive this thing to Russia, no problem! MOT passed in April with zero advisories and the truck has a genuine 99k miles backed up with MOT history. It has low owners for a vehicle of this type (7) and even comes with the original logbook from 27th March 1990! There’s a comprehensive record of MOTs with the truck, backing up the super low miles and a note of a cambelt change just 6,000 miles ago.
